Look no further than Brockton High School for evidence that the mission of proficiency for all students is attainable - the largest high school in Massachusetts (serving a majority population of Latino and African American students from a high-crime, high-poverty community) has moved 78% of its 10th graders to proficient or advanced on the state test, and their achievements continue to grow.
