Earlier this month the Education Trust released two must-read reports detailing the gaps in minority graduation rates within U.S. colleges and universities. While these reports illustrate a significant disparity between white and minority students at a number of institutions, they also identify schools that are able to achieve equal and even superior minority graduation rates. The common themes shared by these schools? Strong leadership, committed faculty, and a shared belief that all students can achieve at high levels.
